The One-Liner Becomes the Two-Liner
The one-liner for most screenplays is almost exclusively a plot one-liner. There are usually not many real indications detailing the most important part of the film, which is the emotional story.
Of course it’s quite possible to write a script from a one-line outline. Hype and excitement can be drawn from it, but clearly it will lack passion. And we will know little about what’s going on inside each character.
We must write our scenes from an emotional point-of-view.
