We will experience God without anything blocking the experience. Even thoughts in our mind are “blocks” to “the real thing.” These thoughts are simply mental representations.

The “second sight” is the physical sight we experience on earth. We will literally see Jesus, Mary and the saints after the general resurrection at the end of time when our bodies are rejoined to our souls. However, even after this, our “sight” will be different from our current experience because we will see God in all creatures we gaze upon.
