"How aren't you frozen?" I began to panic since she heard everything.

"My powers are endless... please, sit." She gestured to the couch. "It seems we have much to discuss." She smirked into her drink.

Nyx and I didn't have an option, but to sit down. Kikimora observed us cautiously watch her.

"We're here because-"

"Angel and demon." She addressed us. "Actually, former light angel... now turned demon. Huh, crossbreed." She smirked at a fuming Nyx.

"Half-blood." Nyx corrected.

"Halfbreed or genetic experiment." Kikimora smirked. "And you're the abomination that is causing Lilitu to incite violence amongst my kind." She narrowed her eyes at me. "You're the reason my demons keep going missing or wind up in Lilitu's realm."

"We need your help." I spoke.

"Obviously you guys didn't just come for a simple chat." She rolled her eyes.

"Join our side." Nyx stared at Kikimora.

"No." I was shocked by her reply. "I have no interest in angel family drama." She sipped her cocktail.

"Just speak to my mom and-"

"Me working with your mother is saying that a devil is working with the antithesis of their kind." She chuckled, but then narrowed her eyes at me. "It's laughable." She sighed and sat back. "I refuse to help angels... I despise your kind." She flitted her eyes over me. "Plus, you're the cause of all my problems. If you didn't exist, then none of this would have happened." She smiled and drank the entire liquid. "In fact, your mother is in the wrong. She broke the oath by having you." Her tone got sharp.

"So you're just gonna allow Lilitu to-"

"I refuse to participate in a petulant war between your species." She yawned.

"Come on!" I was getting frustrated. "You're a devil!" She arched a brow. "You make deals right?" She smirked and nodded. "Make a deal with me then!" Nyx gave me a harsh look. I know it's stupid, but we're running out of options.

"I'll make a deal with you." She leaned forward.

"Ok-"

"No!" Nyx yanked me back. "Do not make a blind deal with a devil. Do not do anything without thinking it through." I firmly nodded at Nyx.

"There's one thing and one thing alone that I want." She smiled and sat back. "Give it to me and I'll wholeheartedly support your campaign." Nyx and I glanced at each other. Something's up.

"What do you want?" Nyx slowly asked.

"I desire one thing and one thing alone." I noticed her eyes darken.

"What?" I whispered.

"Bring me Zena."
