Main Man had another consignment in tomorrow and more security than usual was called for. Double the men were on standby, pulled in from other operations. The Mexicans had learnt their lesson he hoped. Trying to deal with the Cubans for more money had not ended well for them, the complete assignment lost and men killed. The drugs came in on race days. It provided for alibi for him because he would be at the race track without fail. The horse floats were out now. They would still do their usual business of bringing the horses in and back after the races. The police would be waiting for such. Let them come.

Early next morning, Jamesy was at the sport’s desk of a Miami newspaper, as arranged by Sydney in some arrangement. They would develop the photos speedily, have their pick out of Jamesy’s photos, take what they desired, and then send the article and two selected photos on the wire service. That task completed and he walked to the Hertz Car Rental outlet. An hour or so later, after an orientation, explanation, and demonstration by a nice employee, Jamesy was driving west in a white Chevy Bel Air 2 DR toward the everglades, airboats, alligators, and the Miccosukee Native American village.
