Dear Elsa,

My grandma used to say, ‘Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it.’ I never understood what it meant, but I sure do now! I was really wishing for school to start and boy am I sorry.

Yesterday was a total disaster. I got kicked out of the band! It’s pretty much the only part of school that I really like, and now laughed and it really hurt when I hit the ground. I was so mad. I got up, jumped on Mason, and started punching him. Ms. Susan and a couple of the kids had to pull me off him.

We ended up at the office and Mason said he didn’t do anything and that I just attacked him for no reason. Nobody saw what he did, and now I’m out of the band. I’ll bet Mason even gets to be the new drummer.
