GRACE

Last night went a lot better than I thought it would. I actually really enjoyed myself with Chase. Which makes me feel worse for what I’m doing, but fuck it. My emotions are all over the place and I’m muddling through. For my mum. For my twin sister. For Katie.

For myself.

I fought the fuckers who hurt me during the years, and as much as actually killing someone shit me up, I feel better for it. Maybe that makes me a little… or a lot fucked up. But that’s who I am now, that’s what they’ve made me. This all started with the Devils MC, and it’ll finish with them.

Tonight, I’m going for the Devils MC Enforcer, Stan. He’ll be at the strip club in the next town over. I know this isn’t going to be easy, but as I wait in the alleyway around the back of the club, the excitement inside of me is bubbling.

Yeah, as I said… fucked up.

My insides are tingling with nerves and adrenaline. It’s almost 1am, and I know I don’t have long left to wait. According to Chase, the Enforcer likes to follow a strict schedule. Chase made some random joke about how anal Stan is the other night, and I’ve been looking into his patterns ever since. So at exactly 1.15am, the Enforcer will be leaving the strip club to make his way over to the bar for closing time.

My phone vibrating in my back pocket distracts me, who would be messaging at this time of the morning?

Chase: Hey darlin’, what ya doin’?
