CHAPTER 4

Jason met Christina in one of Buckhead’s most popular restaurants. When he saw her, he was instantly consumed with lust. Christina looked like a taller sexier version of Toni Braxton; her short haircut perfectly framed her face. Even though she was dressed in business skirt suit, it was form fitting one, which allowed Jason to see her stunning curves.

“Your pictures definitely do not do your justice,” Jason told Christina as they took their seats and a menu from the hostess.

“Thank you. To be honest, I loathe taking pictures, but it’s a necessary hazard when you’re trying to meet someone. I simply don’t understand the selfie crazy. Who wants to take pictures of themselves all day long? I just don’t get it.”

“Christina, you may hate taking pictures, but you should do it more often because you’re gorgeous. As for the selfies, I don’t get those either, but that is the world we live in now.”

Christina smiled. “So what made you turn to online dating?”

“Well, I don’t do clubs anymore, and since work keeps me kind of busy, I thought this would be a convenient way to meet people. What about you – why are you travelling this online route?”

“Because I only know a couple of people, I needed a way to mingle. Like you, I am not into the club scene so I thought I would give online dating a try.”

“How’s it been working for you so far?” Jason asked.

“Actually, it’s been going fairly well. I’ve met some great guys, but I’m still looking for my match. What about you? You’re tall and handsome; I bet you have to beat women off with a stick.”

Jason shook his head. “It’s not like that even though I get a good number of messages. The problem is that I know what I’m looking for, and it’s hard to find someone that meets all of my conditions.”

The two continued to talk over their lunch, and Jason found he enjoyed her conversation. “So, how would you feel about a second date, Christina?”

“I was hoping you would ask. I’m free this weekend; how about you?”

Jason knew he had a date with Nicole Friday night and did not want to break it. “I’m actually free Saturday.”

“Good, it’s a date. I’ll give you a call later and we can go from there,” Christina said with a bright smile before giving him a quick hug and rushing back to her office.
