Sierra

The past two days Sierra had been bombarding Matt with all sorts of questions about her new life. She felt young and strong again. They even went for a walk in the forest after he told her about the night he found her in the forest, beaten and unconscious.

They were having lunch now on the living room floor next to the fireplace on a fluffy blanket and the questions kept coming.

“Can different shifters mate? I mean bears and wolves… like us,” Sierra asked.

“Of course. I don’t care about the animal you have inside. You’re mine anyway.”

“What about kids? How does that work? I’m not saying I’m ready, but I’m just thinking about it.”

“If we ever have cubs, they’ll be born human and then change into their animal form when they hit puberty. That’s when we’ll know what animal they have inside,” he paused for a bit and then the guilty look on his face told Sierra she was going to hear something interesting. “I want to tell you something. I hope you won’t get scared.”

“Let me drink a bit of water first,” she said as she grabbed the pink glass she had fallen in love with when she discovered it two days ago. After a few sips, she put the glass down and looked into his eyes expectantly.

“You smell so delicious right now, baby,” he whispered.

She burst into laughter and could barely stop.

“I don’t know what’s happening to me. I can’t stop thinking about having sex. With you. I’m so glad I’m a shifter now. It has somehow changed everything and I can give in to my urges. It doesn’t feel wrong that I want you. I want you with all my being. The wolf agrees to you being my mate too. I’ve never felt her so attracted to anyone or anything. All she felt was anger. Pure hate towards males and men, yet she’s changed and she feels connected to your bear,” she said the last sentence in a soft voice, almost a whisper, and placed her hand on his heart.

"You're in heat, baby. The pheromones you give off have been driving me crazy. All I can think of is making you mine, but I can't. It feels too soon. For you. For me. You're so fertile I can even see my cubs running around the house, but you need more time to yourself without worrying about taking care of cubs. I don't want to put cubs in you right now, baby. I'm afraid I'll hurt you and you'll leave me again."

“It wasn’t your fault the first time,” she murmured between kisses. She started with his neck, moving lower to collar bone. “Now can I take this shirt off of you and have my way with you? I don’t know how much longer I can keep my sanity before I jump you. I want to fuck you until I know every last bit of this glorious, sexy body of yours.”

“Sierra, you’re not listening to me. I’m not sleeping with you,” Matt stood his ground.
