Bone was back at his mansion on the north side of town. The spacious home had been one of the first things he purchased when he started to have success with his music. Bone had a six bedroom mansion that he had plenty of memorable parties in. He was sitting at the bar as his brother and Raymond shot a game of pool. He was sipping a glass of cognac. TJ was sinking pool balls with very little effort. He was showing off some of his skills he had used to hustle pool players back in the day.

“The cops ain’t got shit on this case!” shouted Bone.

“Did Bishop really try to take us out?” asked TJ.

“I don’t know man. The cops got no leads, but they working it like Bishop was responsible,” said Bone.

“Bishop always struck me as a being smarter than that. So what you want to do bout Bishop?” asked Raymond.

There was some silence as Bone took a drink.

“I wanna talk to Bishop face to face,” said Bone.

Raymond and TJ looked at each other strangely hearing Bone’s reply.

“What the hell makes you think that’s a good idea?” asked TJ.

“I wanna see if he bullshit or not. If I don’t like the shit I hear, then we’re gonna handle his ass,” said Bone.

“What do you have in mind if you not feeling what he has to say?” asked TJ.

“Don’t worry it’ll get handled big bro,” said Bone as he eased himself off the bar stool and headed for his room.

TJ was wondering what was on his brother’s mind. It was unsettling not knowing what he was thinking. He knew that Bone could turn into a very dangerous man if he was forced to be. The thought of losing everything they had worked hard for flashed into his mind. He did not want to make any mistakes that would cost them their empire.

“Yo. Raymond. I want you to tell me if Bone makes a move on Bishop.”

“No problem TJ,” said Raymond.

“We’ve come too far to sacrifice everything we worked so hard for. I mean if we go to war with Bishop. That could be it. It’s a bad move,” said TJ.

“How you figure?” asked Raymond.

“We going to war with a gangster who has had his hands in a lot of stuff. Street wars bring police. Street wars are unpredictable and dangerous. We start dropping bodies and shit start pointing in our direction,” replied TJ.

“You don’t think Bone knows that?” asked Bone.

“Hell yeah, Bone knows what’s up. The problem is that he is focusing on revenge. He blames himself for that girl’s death. He not looking at the whole situation. If we gonna get rid of a crime lord like Bishop. It can’t look like we had a hand in taking him out,” said TJ.

“What do you suggest?” asked Raymond.

“I say we play it cool. Make sure he is the one who tried to take us out. If we do find out it was him. We strike quick and make him regret the failed attempt,” stated TJ.
