We hiked the longest, off-kiltered terrain trail The Falls had to offer. It was exhausting but with all the events of the day, I’d been feeling rejuvenated and more energetic than I had felt…ever. Garett held my hand the entire time we hiked, even over the uneven parts. He made sure I was safe and we stopped every so often to rehydrate and shade ourselves from the sun. I’d applied sunscreen before I packed this morning but needed a reapply halfway through the hike. Garett’s enthusiasm to help me made me giggle.

“Can’t say I’ve ever heard you giggle before, Bay.” He breathed along the skin of my neck as his hands worked the glob of sunscreen he’d evenly distributed in his palms onto my arms. I’d worn a sports bra under a sport tank, paired with leggings, so my arms and shoulders were exposed. I’d pulled my hair back in a high pony to keep it off my neck in the warm sun. Garett made sure maximum contact was provided as his hands skated over my skin. He rubbed seductively and softly as goosebumps pebbled my entire body. I’d gotten an amazing glimpse of his body while he’d done this as he had on tight bike or hiking shorts and a tight tank.

“I don’t giggle,” I defended. No woman wanted to giggle.

“Baby, you do. It’s sweet. And it made my dick hard, so, just to say, I like it.”

Okay. I definitely wanted to giggle. Right then, I wanted to giggle so damn much if it elicited that reaction from him.

“Mmmm.” Between his words and his hands, I had no control over my body or any noises I emitted.

Garett just smiled at me then kissed me where my neck met my shoulder. After I got control of myself and the shivers from the lip touch to my neck subsided, we started back on the trail. When we made it back to the starting point, he asked if I was hungry and wanted to get something to eat. Immediately, I agreed because I liked where we were and didn’t want this day to end.

The flirting, the touching. It was everything.

What I didn’t expect was the chain of events that unfolded next.
