I wake up the second Marian gets out of bed and heads to the shower. I know I need a shower too, even though I washed up last night after I fucked her.
I’ve never seen Marian that upset. All of her worrying is getting out of hand and showing her that I still loved her was the only way I was going to get any sleep. Still, I hadn’t lied when I said I was tired after my time with Ella. It had taken her ten minutes to get my cock hard, and when I was finally hard enough I’d ripped the covers back so I could put her face down on the bed, maneuvering her until I could see the pinkish-red spot where I’d had Ella a few hours before.
That memory is what I held onto as I slid inside Marian, listened to her moan softly as she squirmed, but I didn’t want her moving. It was distracting. So I put a hand on her back and another on her hip, pinning her exactly where I wanted her. Right where her wet pussy would drip onto the sheets exactly where Ella’s had.
Unfortunately, Marian didn’t feel the same as my girl, so I’d switched to her ass, and that’s when she’d started crying, telling me it hurt, begging in the same quiet voice that Ella had.
God, in some ways they were so alike.
I’d told her to keep it quiet as I remembered loving Ella, working until I finished inside her, and then I’d barely had the strength to rinse myself off in the bathroom before I passed out in bed as Marian curled up with her head on my chest.
Sitting up against the wall, I’m gritting my teeth as I try to decide what Marian needs. If it’s a punishment, I’ll deliver it because that’s what a good husband does. If it’s a new rule, then I’ll make one so that she knows her boundaries.
But the only rule that should matter is the one that every member of my family knows: I love everyone equally.
Pure and simple. There should be no questions left after that. I shouldn’t have to expand on that rule just because Marian thinks she can yell at me in my own house. Just because Marian feels left out now that Ella is old enough to have me love her too.
I’m not like Luke. I’m not going to shove one person away just because there’s another to love. Stephanie had understood that and so had my father until Laura ruined everything.
But I’ll make sure everyone feels loved.
Climbing out of bed, I catch up to Marian as she’s drying off outside the bathtub. She’s still beautiful. Still my Maid Marian, and I’m still her hero. Her savior. Her blonde hair looks darker when it’s wet, but the swell of her hips and breasts calls to me, and I catch her and pull her into a kiss. It takes a second longer than normal for her to melt against me, but she does.
