Jessie’s face burned. With the ocean of pleasure gone, he couldn’t meet Oliver’s gaze.

It had been wrong for the man to touch Jessie. Wrong for Oliver’s mouth to have caressed Jessie’s skin. Wrong for Oliver to penetrate his body with the stem of the enema or the plug. Wrong for Oliver to stare, wide-eyed, face flushed, meek, wanting, afraid, and grateful.

And it was absolutely unforgivable for Jessie to enjoy it.

Marud’s touch commanded Jessie’s body, whereas Oliver’s had begged, pleaded, and submitted. As if he’d been a peasant at the feet of a prince.

Marud gripped Jessie’s shoulder. “Walk.”

Jessie took a step. The movement jostled the plug, pulled the cage, cinched the chain. A frigid shiver ran up his spine, snatching away his breath.

Marud grinned.

“I can’t.” The training room was all the way across the compound.

“You will.”

“Marud, I can’t, I can’t, it...”

He put his lips close to Jessie’s ear. “It what?”

Yes, what? It hurt? No. It felt good? The word was too small. Jessie shuffled his feet, forcing himself forward, and a crackle of cold sparked from the sensitive spot in his ass where the curve of the plug rubbed.

Static played over Jessie’s skin, and his thoughts slipped into a gray fog. If he slowed, Marud pushed, which made Jessie take a wider step that seared his insides with fiery ice.

Jessie went into the hall and made the slow walk to the room on the far end. Behind the door, terrible things would await, but the constant movement of the plug made even breathing irrelevant.

Jessie blinked, and the door stood in front of him. Marud reached around him and turned the knob.

The door whispered open presenting a dark room. Marud flipped a switch on the wall, and soft yellow light flared from above. The table where Marud had strapped Jessie down was on his right. He started in that direction, but Marud guided him to a clear area between a bench and the tilted cross.

There were two chains attached to eyebolts in the floor. The metal so dark it melted into the stone. Round loops of leather with a buckle hooked to the last links. Marud reached up, and the clink, clink, clink of metal echoed as he pulled two additional lengths of chain threaded through several pulleys suspended from the ceiling. At the end of those chains, thick leather cuffs.

Apprehension broke through the dizzy slosh of Jessie’s thoughts.

Marud held out his hand. Jessie gave him his. The god wrapped the cuff around Jessie’s wrist, tightened it, adjusted it again. Then he did Jessie’s other wrist.

“Do you understand why I am doing this?” Marud knelt, his wide shoulders, thick arms, a mountain at Jessie’s side. If the chains had been long enough, he would have reached out and touched the god. Marud fastened the second set of chains on the floor to Jessie’s ankles. When Marud stood, currents of air cast the mix of his spiced scent and ambrosia in lazy eddies.

Jessie shifted closer. “Master...”

Marud held Jessie by his chin. “Answer me,
