“And I have my other family members in the other houses as well,” explained Uncle Denzil. “You should meet them too.”

My aunt and Mutti smiled and waved as Noah and his uncle left the house and returned to their respective houses. But before Hannah and I left with Mutti to head for our own home, Noah brought Jamal and Nate over to Aunt Maria’s house to introduce them to us. They ran across the street and rushed up onto the stoop, knocking on the door. I opened the door and saw Noah with his cousins behind him. Mutti, Hannah, and Aunt Maria came to the door and peered out at the three boys.
