CHAPTER ELEVEN

Jared watched Nathan lick come from his fingers, and something inside him clicked and settled into place. Warmth blossomed behind his ribcage, and a surge of possessiveness swept through him. The words burst out before he even registered thinking them. “You’re mine.”

Nathan froze, his gaze locked with Jared’s, and he reached up to take hold of Jared’s fingers, twining them with his own. “Yes.” He looked both certain and terrified. “And you’re mine.”

Jared had always hated possessiveness in his boyfriends, had run a mile at the first signs. Now they were both at it. He found himself nodding, knowing the words were true. No wonder Nathan looked terrified. “Oh fuck.”

Nathan leaned forward and kissed him, the taste of Jared’s release still on his tongue. He shoved Jared’s hands up above his head, holding them in place while he stretched out on top of him. The kiss was rough and claiming, something Jared normally hated, but he kissed back just as hard, wanting Nathan to know he was as much Jared’s as Jared was his.

With a growl, Nathan nosed down the side of Jared’s jaw, and Jared tilted his head to the side, welcoming where Nathan was headed. The bite mark throbbed as it had before, a heavy pulse with the beat of his heart, begging for Nathan’s mouth.

Warm wetness covered the spot, and Jared dug his nails into the back of Nathan’s hands as Nathan pressed against it with his too-sharp teeth. “Do it,” he hissed, wanting nothing more than to feel Nathan’s fangs puncture his skin. “I need it.”

When Nathan hesitated for a second, Jared’s heart stuttered as rejection threatened to overwhelm him, but then he gasped, his heart taking off like a rocket as Nathan bit into him. The sharp needle-like sting of teeth made Jared cry out as the pain sent a jolt of heat straight to his groin. Nathan’s grip on his hands loosened, and Jared grabbed the back of Nathan’s head, holding him tight against his neck, never wanting him to move.
