Chapter Seven
Leslie
I attempted to process what they were trying to tell me. If I looked around, none of the assistants were like the ones in the front. From what I saw, most of the assistants were women like me.
I needed space from them, so I had to remove myself from their embrace. I glanced at them; they were just gorgeous. They were brothers, the same but different. They were like two sides of a coin.
I got up and headed to the door of Dean's office. I wanted out, that was easier for my head. My emotions were an entirely different thing.
Dean grabbed me, and I looked into his eyes. He was always so sure of himself. Now, I saw uncertainty. He was displaying his emotions for me to see, which left him vulnerable. Nolan was behind me, and I knew that I was between them again. My body was reacting to them, that bloody witch.
"If it's not what I want?" I dared to ask, too afraid to look directly into Dean's eyes.
"Next time you want to say something like this and mean it, you have to look me in the eyes."
I wished I was strong enough, that I wasn't weak with them. My heart was pulsating very fast. Dean took my chin and raised my head.
"Love, we told you about us and what we want, but you didn't say loud and clear what you want? About love, relationships, and all that."
How could I say this? I didn't even know myself. I'm sure a lot of women would tell me to go for it; it's not something that you see on every corner. But a small portion of my self-preservation was telling me to flee. That was simple, but I didn't look closely as to why I was reacting like this.
In the past, I dated douchebags, now I know. I remember what Suzie told me about doing it, making the best of it and that you never knew where it was going to lead.
"I don't know."
Nolan started to move my hair to the side to give him better access to my neck. Dean was still stroking my chin and looking into my eyes. Both of them with their blue eyes were deep inside my head. Dean had the icier eyes. Usually, I didn't see a lot of expression inside them, but now they were full of passion, lust, love, and desire. He was opening his heart that he had guarded very well so far.
"Your body knows, but your head is still trying to process this thing logically. You're trying to process everything, but you're willing to forget the basic emotion about to be cherished and loved by us."
I closed my eyes.
"Look. At. Me." I complied with his command. My emotions were a mess. I didn't want to cry, but I was beginning to feel it.
"It's not that. I don't know. I wanted it too, but at the same time it's confusing."
Dean started to kiss me, very gently. My body reacted to him, and Nolan nibbling my neck wasn't helping.
