It was just after 10:00 A.M. and I had just dropped Nanette off at the airport for her flight back to Connecticut. I missed her already and couldn’t wait for her return in a few weeks. I had an appointment at the salon to get my hair styled for an awards ceremony that night.

After exiting the highway, I went through two stoplights and pulled into the salon parking lot. While parking my car, I saw my stylist, Shelly, pacing around in front of the salon while talking on her cell phone. Every now and again she would raise her arm up high and release a word of profanity through her lips. Normally, Shelly’s demeanor was usually very professional, so it concerned me as to what she was encountering during her phone conversation. I got out of my car, pressed the lock door remote button, and headed into the salon. Shelly spotted me, waved and continued her conversation. I smiled and proceeded inside.
