Sam lay against Cain’s chest and tucked her head under his chin. She breathed a sigh of contentment. She had never had an experience like that. Sex had always been fun for her, but never as completely overwhelming as this had been. Her brain remained fuzzy with pleasure. She twirled his chest hair with her fingers, enjoying the full body contact this position gave her.

“Mmm, are you hungry?” Cain asked quietly. Sam snuggled into his arms further. He chuckled and whispered into her ear. “I think we need to recharge before we do this again.”

Sam shivered with the promise in his warm breath. She felt a tremor in her belly at the thought of making love with him again. She shook herself from the picture of him lying across her bed, naked and sweaty.

“I think we burned off my doughnuts, and I haven’t really eaten well in the last couple of days, so, yeah, I could eat.” Sam stood and tried to scramble out of the hot tub. She was stopped by a hand on her arm. She glanced back down at Cain and trembled as pure desire flared in his eyes.

Cain stood slowly. She couldn’t help but look him over. Her belly clenched and a new flood of heat flowed through her body as she studied the perfection in front of her. She wanted to lick him from head to toe. She watched with bated breath as he stepped out of the tub. He reached for her and then lifted her into his arms before she knew what he was planning. She squeaked and struggled for a second in his arms, but she stopped squirming when he pinned her with a scowl.

He stopped at the sliding door to his room and waited patiently, eye brow cocked, until she opened the door for them. He crossed the room and set her on the edge of the sink in the bathroom. He took his arms from her only long enough to wrap a fluffy towel around his hips and one around her body, then lifted her again and headed back into his room.

“What are you doing? Put me down,” Sam squeaked. She hadn’t been carried by anyone since she was a little girl, and she definitely wasn’t little now. When her struggling got her nowhere, she huffed out her breath. “I can walk, you know.”

“I know you’re fully capable of walking, but I haven’t been able to touch another human being in so long that I don’t want to stop now. If you don’t mind, I’d like to keep holding you for a while.” Cain stopped in the hallway and pressed her against the wall, kissing her until her breath came in little gasps. He smiled at her with a grin that would rival the famous Cheshire feline. “I will be busy soon enough with calls and other things. Right now, I want to hold a beautiful woman in my arms and enjoy her body.”

Sam sighed against his lips and closed her eyes.
