It was still dark outside.

I looked to the side, the embers from the fire still casting their orange glow outward, and sat up to toss another piece of wood into it. Only then did I realize that I couldn’t exactly sit up. Nestled against me, her head resting on the crook of my arm, was Anna.

She was completely naked, an open sleeping bag draped over her waist, and her chest rose and fell at a steady pace. Locks of her jet black hair fell over her face, framing her little mouth almost too delicately, and I found myself staring at her. I took in the shape of her lips, remembering the warmth of her mouth, and then glanced at her perky breasts. My fingers twitched as I remembered how it felt to pinch her rosy nipples, and boiling blood rushed down my body.

For a moment, I thought about waking her up and going for another round. Her skin was smooth, and her tight little body was unlike anything I had ever experienced. I could keep on ravaging her for hours. I could keep on fucking her until she broke. That, of course, wouldn’t be wise. Why break such a good, little toy?

Suddenly, my attention was drawn to the warehouse doors. There was something outside. I could hear a tenuous shuffling, much like that of someone trying to walk in a stealth manner. According to the reports I had seen before flying out here, there was no human activity in a ten-miles radius. The work camps had sucked all the population out of this place, and only the wild animals had been left behind.

Whatever was outside, though, wasn’t a wild animal.

Moving silently, I broke free from Anna and sat up.

“Get dressed,” I growled, jerking her awake. Her eyelids fluttered for a moment, and then her face turned panicky as she watched me get inside my clothes. She opened her mouth to say something, but I didn’t give her the time to. “There’s no time. Just do what I’m telling you.”

Hurriedly, she kicked the sleeping bag away from her and grabbed her clothes. As she did it, I grabbed my weapons and ensured they were loaded up and ready to go. If someone was trying to sneak up on me, then they were going to have one hell of a surprise.

I had my attention on the door, but whoever was coming had been smarter than that. I heard the high windows near the ceiling break, a thousand shards of glass falling to the floor, and then I spun around to see a few gas canisters flying in through the entrance. They started hissing as they clattered around the floor, grey smoke erupting from them, and I wondered if we were being poisoned. As the smoke finally blanketed me, I realized it was harmless. At least that.

Not willing to let myself get distracted by something as pedestrian as smoke grenades, I turned my attention back to the door. I did it just in time.
