The rest of the day went through like a breeze. Mr. Wilkerson checked on me here and there, but for the most part, he let me do my job with no interruptions. After going through all the bank statements, I now know why I was referred. This company was losing money mostly from bad contracts deals. I looked down and noticed it was almost time for me to wrap up my workday and head out. As soon as I powered my laptop off, Mr. Wilkerson's cologne invaded my nostrils then he appeared in my doorway.

"Hey, are you planning on sleeping here tonight?" he asked me while flashing the smile that I know I would grow to love.

"I actually just powered my laptop off so that I could pack up and head out," I relayed to him while zipping my laptop bag.

"I'll wait for you in the lobby so that you won't walk out by yourself."

"Ok, let me unplug my phone, and I'll be ready."

Kyle was flirting with me big time, and I welcomed it. We finally made it to my car, and he looked impressed that I was pushing a 2020 Audi RS7. I thanked him for making sure that I was safe and got into my car. I had to gather my thoughts for a second because I'd never had a man make me feel like this. I was attracted to Kyle Wilkerson in more ways than one. It wasn't inappropriate to think your boss was cute but was it out of line to want to take him home with you.
