Chapter 21

Nova

I've clearly got an issue. I always knew I had a large sexual appetite but not to this extent. Not with all these feelings attached. Ezra is going to hate me. He’ll think I'm a slut. Then Fay will hate me because she and Ezra were ‘not enough’. Damn it, Nova! We can’t fuck this up. As much as I am trying to not fuck anything up, it’s hard to ignore what I feel for Callum and the twins. How can my feelings for them be so wrong when they're the same feelings I have for Ezra and Fay?

I wish I could lay in bed all day, try to come up with some sort of plan or excuse as to why I'm messed up. I roll over onto my side, taking note that I'm wearing a large some-what familiar sweater. Callum. He must have covered me up last night before bringing me in. I look over towards Fay’s bed and see that she's rolled over staring at me. When I catch her eyes, she smiles.

“Morning sunshine,” I say, sitting up to stretch.

“So, someone had a busy night, and it's obviously not me, '' she teases.

I sigh deeply. “Listen, Fay...” I start, but she puts a hand out to stop me.

“Don’t. Nova, you are a creature of love. You radiate it. Those damn fucking eyes put the people around you in a trance. You have so much love, why would I be upset that you shared that love with someone. I'm just thankful that I get some. That I get to be a part of your world,” she explains with endearment, sitting at the edge of her bed.

I can't help myself but smile. A creature of love? I look into Fay’s eyes and realize just how sincere she is. I hop out of bed and tackle her, sending her down into the blankets with me on top of her.

“I am the one who is lucky to have you, Fay. You are an amazing woman. Thank you for being understanding.”

She slides her hands down to my ass, and I lean down to kiss her. Fuck the morning breath! When I release her she slaps my ass.

“Hey! Don't you start. We have breakfast in like fifteen minutes,” I chastise, biting her bottom lip, making her moan.

I roll off Fay and head to my closet. She laughs and goes to hers. I take off Callum’s sweater so I can strip out of my clothes from yesterday. What to wear, what to wear? I usually don't care too much about how I'm dressed, but today, I feel like putting in some effort.

I grab a white, crop top and a pair of ripped up, skinny jeans. When I look over to the sweater Cal lent me, I decide that I'm going to wear it too. The purple and black sweater fits more like a dress, but it’s still super comfy. I go to the mirror and brush out my silver hair, throwing it up into a messy bun before fixing up the eyeliner from the night before.
