In Russia and extinct Auroch was found with a similar high-speed projectile hole in its forehead which is believed to have been put there during the Pleistocene [See the following collage left]. A similar hole was found in the same type animal in Zambia and other signs of hostilities. Most had a tiny hole going in and much larger exit destruction.

Other skulls have been found with the piculiar holes associated with high speed projectiles and shown next. Some of these may not be from bullets but Neanderthal and Early Cro-Magnon faced more than just animal attacks during the Pleistocene.
