CHAPTER FIVE

Without thinking, Laura pulled him inside and went into his arms. He wrapped her in his arms and held on, as if he couldn’t let go. She could feel his heart beat against her cheek. He drew back and held her face in his hands.

“I think I’m in love with you,” he said. And then he was kissing her. His lips were soft, in contrast to the slight stubble on his chin. When he opened them slightly, she tentatively touched her tongue to his. He drew back with a small gasp, still holding her face in his hands.

“Do you know what you do to me?” he said. He softly touched his lips to hers, opening slightly.

“Do that again,” he whispered. “What you did with your tongue.” She dipped her tongue into his mouth, pulling back to trace his lips, then dipping in again. He responded in kind, touching his tongue to hers. She moaned. The small sound seemed to snap his control. Gathering her up against his body he pressed his chest to her breasts, rubbing back and forth, as if he wanted to touch her everywhere. He became bolder in his kisses, delving deeper into her mouth. Her body felt like it was on fire. His hands slipped down to cup her buttocks and pulled her against his hips. Helplessly, he ground against her.

“Tell me to stop,” he moaned against her lips.

“Can’t,” she replied. “The bedroom is…..”

“I know where it is.”

She wrapped her legs around his waist. Still kissing, they staggered into the bedroom and fell onto the bed.

She couldn’t wait to feel her skin against his. Where she would have hurried, he clasped his hands around hers.

“Wait,” he whispered. “I want to see all of you. You’re so beautiful.”

Letting go of her, he struck a match and lit the kerosene lamp. The room was bathed in soft, yellow light.

“So beautiful,” he whispered again. He kissed her softly, nipped her jaw, then her neck.

Reaching the buttons on her blouse, he bit the top button, then growled and began to undo them. He waited until all of the buttons were undone to spread her blouse open and touch her breasts. He lowered his head and buried his face, inhaling deeply.

“Mmm.”

He nuzzled her skin, slowly working towards her aching nipples. When he captured one in his mouth, she gasped and pushed up against his caresses. After what seemed like an eternity, he moved to the other breast, giving it the same loving attention.

“Oh God, now!” she breathed.

“I want to taste all of you.” He slid lower, licking her belly, dipping his tongue into her navel. He slipped her panties and shorts off and dropped them on the floor beside the bed. She stiffened.

“All of me?” she whispered.

“Please say yes.” He raised his head, hands gripping her hips. “You’re so delicious. Don’t ask me to stop.”

She gazed at him for a long moment, then lowered her head to the pillow and brushed her hand over his hair. He pressed his face to her belly, licking and suckling the sensitive area just below her navel.
