Chapter 10

Matt was caught up in an erotic vision, starring Bryan. He turned on the couch, snuggling under the blanket. A smile formed as his dream became more intense. He stared into crystal blue eyes, moving closer and closer until his mouth came into contact with soft, full lips. Soft, writer’s hands caressed his chest and slipped lower until one hand disappeared below his waist, teasing his thigh and slipping to the most intimate of places. His mouth moved over Bryan’s hungrily. A moan escaped his lips as hands cupped his manhood and began to stroke it hard and slow.

“Yesss,” he hissed into Bryan’s mouth, reaching allowing his hands to hold on to his firm, smooth buttocks…

“Matt.” Bryan’s voice echoed in his subconscious and he moaned again, the baritone washing over him, causing the heat to run through his body and pool in the small of his back as his manhood hardened in expectation.

“Hmmm?” he moaned sleepily.

“Matt.” This time the voice sounded more realistic, and like it was coming from beside him. “Matt.” His eyes fluttered open.

“Huh?” he grunted.

“Sorry to wake you but it sounded like you were having a nightmare or something. You were moaning.” His eyes landed on Bryan, slumped on the couch next to him. He sat up abruptly.

“Bryan!” His face flushed a bright pink and he adjusted the blanket strategically to cover the obvious bulge in his boxers. He nearly laughed. A nightmare? If only Bryan knew what he was really dreaming about. “Uh, yeah, thanks for waking me. How long have you been sitting there?” he asked suspiciously.

“I’ve been sitting here for about twenty minutes. You didn’t hear me come in and I didn’t want to wake you. Well, until it sounded like you were having a bad dream,” Bryan replied and Matt averted his gaze but not before noticing the dejected look on Bryan’s face.

“Oh, shit. What happened at the interview?” He immediately knew that it hadn’t gone well. Bryan shrugged and let out a sigh.

“From the look on my face, you can probably tell it all went to hell. I didn’t get the job. She basically told me that I wasn’t good enough,” he grumbled, mentally willing his manhood to deflate. Matt swung his feet onto the floor still nursing the blanket in a rather convenient manner.

“Well, whoever she is, she’s a real bitch. You’re more than good enough,” he muttered suppressing another yawn. Snorting, Bryan rolled his eyes.

“You’ve never even read any of my work,” he pointed out.

“I don’t have to read your work to know that you’re good. You’re the smartest guy I know and you definitely have a way with words. You have to be a great journalist.” For the first time, Bryan smiled.

“Wow, Matt that is the most foolish thing I’ve ever heard. But thanks.”

“So, I guess we’re on for getting wasted tonight?” He’d taken to drinking a little more because he still hadn’t gotten over his infatuation with Bryan. And drinking was the only outlet for his frustration, not even his writing helped.
