Chapter 9

Gage’s smile was pure, unadulterated sin, and the raw, primal need in his eyes gave Sadie pause. What if she didn’t live up to his expectations?

Sadie’d had exactly one sexual partner in her life, and that was Michael. They’d both been clueless virgins when they met, so their encounters, while pleasurable, could hardly be described as adventurous or wildly passionate. Something told her Gage was no fumbling virgin and that anything short of wicked and wildly passionate wasn’t in his repertoire.

But she didn’t have much time to contemplate her nerves when his lips sealed over hers once more. He set her on her feet and they somehow managed to shed the rest of their clothes without breaking the kiss.

Before she could comprehend his intentions, he sank to the mattress, laid down on his back, and pulled her up his body, gripping her hips and guiding her until her knees were on either side of his head, her core a scant inch above his mouth.

“Oh!” She let out a gasp when she realized what he intended to do. A twinge of embarrassment penetrated her lust-fogged brain. She was so wet. Surely he wouldn’t… “You don’t have to do…that.”

He gripped her tighter when she started to move off him. “Oh, sweetheart, yes. I have to do this.” Reaching up, he teased her tight nipples with a light touch she felt all over her body.

All. Over.

“Jesus,” he said on a groan. “Look at this view.”

And as she looked down at him, at his beautiful mouth, those perfect lips closing over her clit, she had to agree. The view was nothing short of stunning. Earth-shattering and mind-altering in an I’m-now-ruined-for-all-other-men kind of way.

Her legs started to tremble as he flicked her clit with his tongue again and again, and she was starting to make so much noise that she was glad Gage lived in the middle of nowhere. If he had neighbors close by, they’d probably be calling the cops right now, thinking he must be killing her.

And he was. Killing her, that is. The sounds he was drawing from her…they were sounds she was sure she’d never made in her life. But something told her there was no need to be embarrassed with Gage.

He slid his hand down, teasing her slick entrance with one finger, then two. Her eyes rolled back into her head and her back arched. He hummed a growly, satisfied noise of his own that vibrated along her skin as he continued to taste and torment her, sucking and licking, his tongue far more talented than she ever could have imagined, his fingers reaching a spot—the spot—that only Chris Hemsworth had reached up until that point.

Every muscle in her body tensed as pure pleasure skated along her nerve endings. She cried out, loud enough that the sound echoed like a gunshot in the otherwise quiet room.

But Gage didn’t seem to mind.
