ALEX’S IDEA OF A TREAT INVOLVED SKINNY-DIPPING IN THE moonlit Aegean. “Come on,” he said, stripping. “This is my family’s private beach. No one can see us. Besides, we’ll stay near the shore. Who’s game?”

“I am,” Dylan said. “Come on.”

“Maybe Dani and I will wait for you here,” Alí said.

“Chicken,” Dylan said, making a clucking sound.

“That does it,” Daniel said, stripping quickly to rush in after Dylan. “Come on, Alí.”

“Ugh,” he said, tugging at his shirt and jeans.

They splashed each other, the bracing water up to their necks.

“Let’s swim out,” Dylan said.

“Are you crazy?” Daniel said. “There’s no light.”

“There’s a few lights in the distance and from the restaurants on the other beaches,” Alex said. “Let’s race out to that buoy.”

“What buoy?” Alí said. “I can’t see anything.”

“We’ll race alongside one another, listening to each other’s voices,” Dylan said.

“It’s nuts,” Daniel said. “I’m headed to shore.”

“Fine. You could only beat me in a pool anyway,” Dylan said. “Hey, wait.”

Daniel took off then, with Dylan in pursuit and Alí and Alex struggling to keep up. After a while, Alex couldn’t hear the others, only the lapping of the waves. It was dark, cold, terrifying, and he decided to turn back. He prayed the others decided to do the same, and he was relieved to find them waiting for him on shore.

“Who won the race?”

“Alí was the first back.”

“But only because I didn’t swim out that far,” Alí owned. “That was insane.”

“But in a good way,” Dylan said.

“We could’ve drowned,” Daniel said.

“Then why’d you do it?”

“I wasn’t going to let you get the better of me.”

“Hey,” Alex said. “The race isn’t finished.”

And he took off up the stone steps, with the others trailing him all the way to the shower in the master suite.

“Let’s warm things up,” Alex said, turning on the massaging jets, soaping up the others. He grabbed the belts from two terrycloth robes and began tying Dylan’s hands to the faucet overhead with one. He threw the other to Daniel, who did the same to Alí.

“Don’t worry,” Dylan said to Alí. “Dani would never hurt you. It’s just a bit of fun, one of the games men play.”

He kissed Alí then, the two of them cooing, kissing and talking. Did they ever stop talking? Alex wondered.

He and Daniel took Dylan and Alí from behind then, pressing Dylan and Alí’s erect cocks together as they enveloped the group in a hug.

“Is this what they call a clusterfuck?” Dylan asked, and they all laughed.

The next morning, Alex joined Daniel on court along the sidelines as Dylan and Alí, shirtless, squirted each other with tubes of sunscreen that they held between their legs.

“So juvenile and yet so adorable,” Alex said. “What’s the matter, Dani? You look too serious for what they’re doing.”

“I was just thinking, Today’s our last full day on Mykonos. Tomorrow it’s back to real practice and meets and schedules and appearances and answering the same stupid reporters’ questions you’ve answered a thousand times and decisions that have to be made.
