Chapter Three

After making love I felt like I had been on a roller coaster and I just got off of it. I felt the spinny feeling in my mind, and I still felt unable to move because of it. Was that what indicated good sex? Because this guy definitely made me feel that way every single time. It made me happy, and I felt satisfied that he was able to give me the pleasure that I wanted.

Still, there were some things that we had to sort out. One of them was the whole thing with my mom. Plus there were a few unanswered questions about everything that happened. However, I didn’t want to get into that right now. I turned to Shawn and smiled at him with a cute grin.

“Do you want to come over? It’s getting late and I’m freezing,” I said. Sex helped get rid of the cold feeling for a while, but I was cold once again and I needed to get inside. Plus, I knew it was supposed to snow tonight, and the last thing I needed was to be walking around when there’s a few inches of snow on the ground. Philadelphia didn’t have little snows like other places. They had crazy storms that were dangerous to be in if you were in the wrong place at the wrong time.

“That sounds good to me. There are a couple of things I want to talk to you about in private,” he replied.

I wondered what he meant by that, but I knew that at this point he was with me. He wasn’t going to run off at all anymore. He started to follow me to the car, blushing at the fact that he was stark naked except for the shawl and I looked like a battered hooker at this point.

“We look like two characters right now don’t we?” I asked.

“Well, yeah. If any of the cops found us like this I think we would have to take an automatic sobriety test,” he replied.

I laughed at the little quip. Sex and revelations can cause you to look like a mess sometimes. I didn’t care though. I wanted to go back and talk to him about this. I wanted to find out about his life, and I wanted him to tell me about his. I didn’t care what happened to us, I just wanted to be with him regardless of what went on in the world.

I drove home, and I felt his eyes on me numerous times. Every time I glanced over he would look at me and our eyes would meet. I could tell he was admiring me, and although I was flattered by it I felt a bit nervous. I didn’t want to hurt him, and I wanted to think about the various things that were going on. I still had a lot of questions, and I wanted to find out some of the other things about my past and my family. It had to wait though until we were safe at my home.
