5: Her Hero

I moved towards him and he took a step back. It was obvious that desire for me was warring with his desire to keep his job. I smiled. I was enjoying being the forbidden temptress in this little game. And knowing I was being so naughty, that my husband wouldn’t appreciate this at all, just made it so much hotter. I found my breathing picking up even more, felt blood pulsing through my body and down in between my legs.

And yet still I couldn’t quite believe it.

What was I doing? Why was I getting so close to a man who wasn’t my husband? As I approached his eyes looked me up and down with that same hunger, that same appraisal, I’d gotten from the guys out on the factory floor. The same hunger I’d seen from him earlier. Only there was suddenly something different about the way he looked at me. The apprehension faded to be replaced by a cocky, casual confidence in that look. In the way he carried himself. Something that said he saw something he wanted and he was going to have it.

That look terrified me and turned me on at the same time. Suddenly it hit me that this wasn’t a game. This was really happening. I was in an office on the factory floor with a man who wasn’t my husband, a man who suddenly looked like he’d decided he was going to enjoy himself if I was going to throw myself at him.

I glanced at the door and briefly considered bringing this to a stop, but then it was too late. He was moving in on me. And why shouldn’t he after the display I just made? After that seductive little dance I just pulled?

I licked my lips as he moved in close. I took a step back and stumbled against his desk. A couple of pens clattered to the floor and I jumped at the sound. He was close enough now that I could feel his hot breath against my skin. This close I definitely could tell that he looked a little older. Maybe around the same age as Dan. Oh God Dan. I was betraying him in the worst way possible and there was nothing I could do about it. Nothing I was going to do about it. Mike looked so damned good and I was in a sexual frenzy.

He took another step forward and then he was pressing against my body. Fuck! Another man was pressing against me for the first time since I’d gotten married and it was sending back a flood of memories, a flood of emotions, from those wild days before I settled down.

I couldn’t help myself. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath. I was greeted by a wonderful enchanting aroma that was a mixture of cologne, sweat, and that oil smell I’d been so into on the factory floor. He smelled like a working man. So very different from Dan and his clean board rooms and days on the golf course.
