Operation Reveles Day 6

At 9.30 am the whole team of Operation Reveles, with cups of coffee in hand, met, in the briefing room. Laurie began coaching each team as to what their cover would be when they went to approach their three people of interest. As he was briefing the team, Eddy had an idea, related to the third person of interest, Noah Lambert. The idea was a bit different, but he needed Laurie, and he needed someone outside of the group but within the community of Sorrento as well.

‘Laurie…can we hang on a tick? I just want to make an alteration,’ Eddy said with great haste.

‘Sure?’ Laurie responded with a quizzical look on his face. Eddy motioned for Laurie to step outside into the hallway, and he shut the briefing room door behind him with the rest of the team awaiting their instructions.

‘Okay, Eddy, what do you want to do?’ Cochrane inquired.

The whole team began surreptitiously watching through the window, and they all wondered what was happening. Eddy began explaining to Laurie what he had in mind, and over the course of the conversation, the range of facial expressions from Laurie went from ‘bizarre’ to ‘you’re out of your bloody mind’ and finally, ‘Well, okay, there is some method to your madness.’ At the end of Muravic’s explanation, he had won over Cochrane, they finished the conversation, and the briefing room door opened, and Eddy faced all the members of Operation Reveles and said in an enthusiastic voice, ‘New plan, guys!’

Samara and Nicholas were going to interview the first person of interest, Ian Erlandsen, whilst Samantha and Phil Morris were assigned the second person of interest—Brian Efferstyn. Eddy, Alex, and Laurie piled themselves into AFP’s unmarked technical van, and then they were on their way to make a pit stop to collect some items from an address in Sorrento before going to pay a visit to the final person of interest, Noah Lambert.
