Chapter One

Welcome to Miami.

Percy Brice stepped out of the sleek company car and looked up at the imposing glass and steel facade of the hotel in which he would be spending the foreseeable future. He groaned, and slung his bag over his shoulder. Hotel living had long since lost its glamour for him. Too many dreary nights away from home while on a case. It wasn't quite as bad in the glorious Florida heat as it had been back home in wintry Minnesota, but he still felt a pang to be back home with his wife.

Jennifer had promised to stay in touch with him frequently, as she always did. And he knew she would. She knew how hard it was for him to be away, and she'd always paid special attention to his low moods when he was away. She was very gracious that way, very kind. He still wasn't sure what he'd ever done to deserve such a woman, and still woke up pinching himself every morning. He didn't even mind the fact that he had to share her...

And then, all of sudden coming unbidden into his head, a picture of Jennifer laying on her back in the College Football team's locker room, three black men taking turns with their cocks in her mouth. And not just her mouth either...

He shook his head, trying to clear away the image. Jonas Harrington, the eccentric head of the firm, had informed him that he would be serving as co-council for someone from the Miami office, a young up-and-coming attorney. James, he thought the name was. It was in the file he'd been provided with, but Percy had hardly had a chance to look it over yet. There would be plenty of time for that later, plenty of long lonely hotel room nights for pursuing boring paperwork. He had wanted to make his last few nights with Jennifer as pleasurable as possible.
