Introduction

We need a Savior to come in the world to cleanse us from guilt and sin. Jesus, the savior will become our mediator between us and His Father. b1 John 1:9 states, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Jesus, the Savior is coming to save a wretch undone, like us. Matthew 1:21 states, “And she shall bring forth a son and thou shalt call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins”. We need someone who is willing and able who’s without sin, something we can’t do our self. Jesus, the Savior will be born into the world and when He is grown, He will shed His blood for the remission of our sins and plead our case.

John 1:29 states, “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto Him and saith, behold the lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world”

There is a single parent who has four children, Rachel, Sarah, Luke and John. She does not know Jesus as her personal Savior, who’s going to be born in Bethlehem. We too were once separated from Christ Jesus because of our sins and were considered His enemies. Romans 5:10 states “For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. When we confess our sins and acknowledge our needs for His forgiveness, He cleanses us and make us a new creature. Those of us who have known Christ for many years may have the tendency to forget what we have been rescued from and forgiven of sharing about our past and current failures and giving praise to God. Forgiveness will help us not come across as holier than thou to people who don’t know Jesus. The single parent is struggling and need to find her way to the Savior and believe. She has a son who goes to prison. He was saved a long time ago and believes that Christ is coming to set him free.
