“I like your outfit. I didn"t know dinner was casual,” Cliff
commented. At least Mark didn"t seem bothered by his early arrival.
“It was all I could manage on my own,” Mark explained, looking
down at himself. “I guess I need your help after all.” He smiled. “I"m
glad you"re here. Can I take your coat?”
Cliff slipped off his coat and handed it over.
Mark stood stock still for a moment. The man had dressed up for
him. “You look great! Now I feel underdressed.”
“I like the way you"re dressed.” Cliff wanted to touch but didn"t
have the courage to do so. He bent to untie his boots instead.

leather coat over the back of a chair. He turned back to watch the man
slip his boots off by the door. “Is it too early to ask for a kiss?”
Cliff broke into a broad smile. “C"mere, Bobcat.” He opened his

miserable when I walked away from you earlier.”
“Oh, why?” Mark asked with surprise.
“I wanted to let you know… that I cared.” There was no point in
denying the fact, not to Mark anyway. Cliff didn"t want to spend
another afternoon like the one today. “I wanted to grab you and hold
you… and show you.”
“It would have been quite a show.” The mental picture amused
Mark. He massaged the back of the larger man"s neck with his good
hand. Cliff didn"t say anything more. “Why don"t you show me now?”
It came out in a suggestive whisper.
A low rumbling growl issued from deep inside the big man"s
chest. Cliff quickly turned Mark and pressed against him, pinning him
