I won't bore you with the details of the game. Suffice it to say it got very competitive.

While the boys made their jibs and jabs at each other, playing on the green, Yvette and I stared daggers at one another. Weirdly, I got the sense she liked it! What is up with her? And whenever Kim made a good shot, she'd cheer him on.

Kim was actually damn good, it turned out. About as good as Master Gary, it seemed. Which would have mattered, had it not been for the fact that Omar, the number national champion in Lebanon, kicked everyone's ass! And here, I didn't realize they even had a league. At one point, Master even whispered in my ear.

"I knew this would happen. And I was banking on him picking you, too. He's predictable womanizer that way."

So it seemed that Master had cleverly stacked the game in his favor. AGAIN!

After this charade of a game, and after hours of each of us women lugging around not one but TWO massive golf club holders like pack-mules, we were finally led back—by our leashes—to the clubhouse.
