To find your goal weight, find your age and height on the chart on page 129. You know yourself better than anyone else does, so select a number that is realistic for you. Subtract that number from your current weight. That’s your weight-loss goal.
Then, to determine a target date for achieving this goal, divide your weight-loss goal by 32. That’s the number of weeks it will take to reach your goal. Consult a calendar and find the exact date you will achieve your happy goal weight.
