I was up and off and away with his howl echoing behind me. My sudden burst of laughter threaded through it. How wonderfully crazy was this?

The bright glow of the cut into the rock faded back, faded away as my intact boots hit the smooth cut of the passageway’s floor. I wouldn’t have long. I wasn’t fit, but I wanted to give my snow beast a good hunt—

I blinked and staggered before finding my stride again. My ankle. The one I’d twisted in the deep snow. It was fine. More than fine. There wasn’t a hint of pain as my foot hit the rock. I laughed again, the joyous sound of it echoing over the snow-free rock. Obviously, the tongue of a beast—my beautiful snow beast—cured all ills.

Around me, the rock grew brighter, widening out into more of an arch and I drew a sweet scent into my gasping lungs. Grass and warm winds, the hint of unnameable flowers. Light shifted ahead of me, rich and natural. Whatever this place was—wherever it was—it was strange. And wonderful.

Cameras zipped around me, intent it seemed to chase after the rips and tears in my suit. To see licked flesh, my exposed pussy and the bounce of my tits. Prurient little buggers. But I could forgive them. Just—

I skidded to stop at the open mouth of the tunnel and gaped. Good god. My hand scrabbled for the smooth face of the rock wall to catch my shaking legs. Fingers dug into my side to ease the sudden tightness of a stitch…but the pain was secondary to the view.

Before me, sweeping up in a series of twisting, mountainous terraces was a world of brilliant greens and golds beneath a smoky blue sky. And, with a squint, a distant shadow chased and whirled through the clouds on vast wings. A bird? With that tail…a dragon? Insane…

The land was a rush of pastures and light dappled forests, water falling in a tumbling cascade from a mountain wall, a sweet spray reaching me as I simply continued to stare. Everything was warmth and life and a wild, gold-green beauty.

My heart skipped, a quick clenching that caught my shortened breaths.
