Chapter 19

***RAIN'S POV***

Voices were echoing in my head as I slowly came back to reality.

"She looks great, she'd be a little better if she lost a bit of weight, but I can handle that," the voice was deep and rough with a southern accent. I pretended not to hear anything and kept my eyes closed hoping that the strange voice would leave me alone.

"Alright. So we have a deal?" This voice was familiar, it was Nick. I knew what was happening, Nick was selling me to this man. He was going to leave me here with him and I was going to suffer.

"Yep, here's the check" the rough voice spoke again. I could hear the flimsy paper being exchanged and it made me cringe. I couldn't believe this was happening to me, and to top it all off my own family were the ones doing it.

"Alright, I'll leave you to it. if you have any problems call me and I'll take care of it, she's a feisty one."

I mentally chuckled knowing that I had given him a hard time.

"Don't you worry. I can handle her." he chuckled sending chills up my spine.

"Alright, see ya Barry"

And with those last words, Nick was gone. I was alone with a man named Barry. I heard footsteps walking closer and closer to me, but I continued to pretend to be asleep.

"Bitch, I know you're awake" his voice boomed but I didn't move. Suddenly I felt the sting of Barry's hand lash across my cheek. My eyes shot open and I yelped in pain.

"Shut up you whore," his voice was harsh and unforgiving. He pushed me off the bed onto the hard ground and left the room laughing. Completely terrified I crawled to the corner and pulled my knees to my chest. Tears began to stream down my face as I realized that I had no one. I was completely alone and I would probably never see Jeydon again. This was my life now, full of hatred and abuse. My body began to tremble and couldn't control my emotions.

"JEYDON! JEYDON! JEYDON!" Was all I could scream as I shook and rocked back and forth. The door swung open and Barry walked in again. He looked angry, I knew he was going to hurt me so I covered my face and prepared to take the beating. I continued to scream for Jeydon as his foot was forcefully jammed into my stomach until I began to vomit blood.

"SUCK IT UP YOU STUPID BITCH" his voice filled with anger and hatred.

The tall man continued to kick and shove me until I lost feeling in my entire body. I couldn't scream or cry anymore, all I could do was lay there and take it, occasionally whimpering and vomiting blood. I don't remember when he left because everything faded away just like you would imagine it.

I woke up and felt awful. I slowly pulled myself up and leaned against the wall. Dried blood surrounded my body and my clothes were torn.
