CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE

M onday morning, Razor walked into HMP Doncaster carrying a pack of Embassy cigarettes, but instead of cigarettes, the package contained one ounce of Spice. The previous night Ishmael had carefully undone the cellophane wrapping, removed the cigarettes and replaced them with the Spice. He’d then stuffed cotton wool into the packet to stop the Spice rattling, should anyone shake the pack. He’d then slid the cellophane back over the packet and sealed it on the underside. The packet now looked unopened, and even the weight was the same. Ish had also advised Razor to always carry an additional pack containing just two or three cigarettes, that way, if he got searched, it wouldn’t look strange having an unopened box on his person. Despite Ishmael’s reassurances Razor was nervous, he could feel the sweat running down his back as he entered the prison.

Was that security guard staring at him?

Razor decided he was just being paranoid, he wished he hadn’t snorted that little livener before work.
