Chapter Nine

Jackie rushed inside in time to check her mailbox. A package and a letter was stuffed in the back. She opened the letter first:

Dear, Sweetheart,

It feels like decades since we’ve been apart, and I find myself counting the days until we reunite. I sent you some personal gifts. Things I want you to cherish, so please don't take this as me being superficial or insensitive. I do this out of love, and a lovely woman such as you should be spoiled from time-to-time with lavish gifts and high-end designer clothing. What is a butterfly without its color? A moth, you’re far from the latter. Please don’t think our values are different, your circumstance has changed your mentality due to the current situation you’ve found yourself unable to flee from, but as long as you allow me to, I will pull you out of the tar pit even if it’s to give you room to breathe and run free. So don't compromise, and understand that I do not intend to offend you by showering you with such gifts. Don’t we all deserve the lavish life? Please know that I accept you for who you are, and as a DOM, I can get a little controlling and demanding, but I assure you, only good will come of it if you totally submit to my loving ways.
