Part Two

Now it’s time for bitter things

Dearest Daughter,

In truth, I am God. I am Allah, Jehovah, Thor and Mars, Neptune and Zeus. I am the sun and the moon, the water from where you were born. I am all things. I am not like you. I was born into greatness.

No, my mother did not hold my hand above open flames nor did my father fuck me. I did not weep over their dead bodies. Axe in hand, a rendering of Thor and His hammer I am.

I move in the day. I live in the dark. I am the most god-awful thing ever ejaculated from your nightmares. I love you.

You look at me and see kindness, gentleness, and wisdom. I look at you and see food.

Like your Christ, I have fed you my flesh and bequeathed my blood for your salty slurps. In ignorance of the feast you glowed, a golden calf. In return, I devour your flesh and gulp your blood until you are simply an empty vessel of unrealized life.

I am the king and all of humanity my pawns. I move a pawn here, a knight there. I am the puppeteer. I am the maestro. I profess.

I am aware of you. Do you not sense me from the corner of your eye, a God in the peripheral of your vision?

You shall. Join me, my dear tender Monica. Let us each partake of the other. We shall merge, and in my greatness, I will swallow you, and regurgitate you, completely, re-made in my image.

Come, dear Monica, enter me and penetrate me, as I shall you.

Sincerely yours,

God
