Chapter 9

Lauren woke just after six the following morning and listened to the silence of the house. She slipped out of her bedroom and used the toilet in the bathroom, wiping herself carefully. She brushed her teeth and once back in her room, brushed her hair to remove the knots. With a beach towel around her she went into the kitchen and put the kettle on the stove. As the water heated up she took three cups and saucers and put them on a tray. The teaspoons rang against the china and she was concerned that she might have woken Steven or Emma already, but she didn’t hear any movement. As the water boiled she warmed the pot and then emptied it before adding three teaspoons of tea and putting the tea cosy round it.

At six thirty she knocked on Emma’s door and carefully opened it, balancing the tray on one hand.

“Tea time!” she announced.

“Oh my. This is very good service,” said Emma, stretching and smiling delightedly at her. She sat up, her firm breasts exposed above the sheet. She made no move to cover herself and Lauren stared at her breasts, a thrill running through her at the sight.

“Shall I put it beside you?” she asked.

“That would be lovely. Have you got a cup?”

The thought of bringing them tea tomorrow entered her head, and how she could take some to her parents first, then bring in more for Steven and Emma and stay with them. It struck her as risky in the extreme. Her parents were probably getting up now as well, rehearsing their speech about her stupidity for leaving school early. As Lauren had said, she would hear them out and nod at the appropriate moment. Steven was smiling at her, and she put her cup next to Emma’s and got into bed next to him. She thought he was probably naked as well. She reached for her tea and carefully leaned back on the pillows. Emma returned carrying a tube of what looked like ointment. Lauren looked at her pussy and the fine covering of hair that barely concealed her lips. She noted the protrusion of her clit poking out from between them. Her hips were slightly wider than her own but maybe only by a fraction of an inch or so. She got back into bed and sipped her tea.

The feeling of this being their final hours hung over the conversation. Discussion centered around what was needed at the Post Office, and what Lauren’s parents might bring with them.

“Only anger and a lecture,” said Lauren, half joking.
