So far Carver had stayed silent. "What is your name son?" He said.

"Seth." He said.

"Well Seth. If for any reason, any reason at all, that man comes back to this bar you call me immediately, okay." Carver said. Then he handed Seth one of his cards with his home and cell phone number on it. "Anytime."

As we left Carver pointed his finger at Seth and said "Any reason. Remember that son."

He drove me back to the station to pick up my car. I had been pretty quiet, lost in my own thoughts, when we pulled up next to my car.
