Dimitri and Galena were truly happy. They had reasons to be happy, and four of the reasons ran around the house as they watched their sons play. They were blessed with four amazing young boys whom they loved dearly. The best decision they ever made was to move to Philadelphia. Their companies were thriving, thanks to his beautiful wife and the incredible teams of accountants they hired. She was his equal partner in business and in life.

More than a year after the tragic car accident, things were finally getting back to normal. There is always suspicion swirling around their untimely deaths, but the investigator they hired assured them it was a tragic accident. Galena still suffered from bouts with depression but thing were much better.

One night, Galena and the nanny had put the boys to bed and she came into the kitchen for tea. The nanny said goodnight and went to her room. Galena made a cup of tea, turned to leave the kitchen and fainted. Minutes later, Dimitri went searching for her because she didn’t answer when he called out to her. He found her unconscious on the kitchen floor. Dimitri rushed his Galena to the hospital. They were there for several hours and they ran a number of tests. Her doctor said he wanted to keep her overnight for observation and additional testing. The next day they were given devastating news.

Dimitri couldn’t comprehend anything after the doctor said terminal cancer. They explained the aggressive options, but they couldn’t guarantee any of it would work because the cancer had spread to her bones. He looked into his wife’s beautiful eyes that were filled with unshed tears and it broke him. He couldn't hear the doctor because his world stopped when he said the cancer is terminal. All he got from his long speech was the fact that his wife, Galena had cancer and had only a year to live. Galena was in the hospital for a week before they released her. They talked about how to handle the situation with the boys and they decided to not tell them she was dying; they told the boys that she was sick and she would need to rest a lot.

Dimitri hired a nurse who would take care of his wife and paid her double what she was asking because he wanted the nurse to stay a few nights a week to make sure that Galena was comfortable.

Angela Roberts was the nurse that they ended up hiring. She was a beautiful African American woman with an athletic build and a beautiful personality. On Angela’s first day, Dimitri introduced her to the security team and the Nannies.

“Lulu, I want you to meet the nurse we hired,” Dimitri said in a warm tone. “Angela, this is Mrs. Wilson…”

“Please call me Lulu, everyone does,” Lulu said with a smile. “Welcome, we will talk soon. I have to make sure the boys eat their lunch,” she said with a smile before walking away. Dimitri showed her around the house and where her bedroom was, if she ever needed to stay the night.
