The first day of the year was beautiful—a blue sky dotted with white clouds above the chilly Rocky Mountains. Nestled in the snow-peaked mountains sat a secluded cabin with smoke curling from the chimney.

Kalista and Riondro lay together on the bed, still sweaty and breathing hard from lovemaking. She lay with her head on his chest as he gently caressed her shoulder while humming the theme song from Cheers.

Kalista started singing the lyrics.

Sometimes you want to go,

Where everybody knows your name,

And they’re always glad you came.
