Entry 1 -- 3 days post AMMI (After Men Move In)

I settle myself more firmly on the pool float and balance the notebook on my lap as I get ready to write in my new journal. No. It’s not weird that I’ve suddenly decided to start writing a diary. Not when you consider I’m a girl who’s been alone for months, with no one but a disembodied duck on the radio to talk too. A girl who is suddenly living in a house with four men. I clearly need someone to vent too, and while Mrs. Tremaine did appear to have all the working parts to be considered female, I don’t think her and I will be bosom buddies anytime soon. So, instead I’ve decided to vent my frustrations to the only sane person around. Me. Sort of anyway.

I want a refund. A serious refund. In cash. For all the romance novels that I’ve bought over the years that put the idea into my innocent young mind that living with a guy or guys is this magical, safe, and satisfying goal that all women should aspire too. I want a special refund from all the reverse harem books I’ve paid for over the years that make moving in with multiple guys seem like the hottest idea on the planet. You ladies owe me. You are seriously lucky it’s the end of the world and I’m trapped on a pool floaty just outside a mansion filled with hot men. Or I’d be coming for you all, and my $$!

Fact: Living with men takes balls. Real, big, lady balls. I’ve never actually lived with the hairier of the species before, so this is all very new to me, and nothing, I repeat, NOTHING, like in those romance novels. The lucky ladies in those romances don’t deal with anything like what I’ve been dealing with. NOTHING!
