Tropical Treat

The papaya in this smoothie provides digestive enzymes, while the ginger is soothing. You could replace half the liquid with light coconut milk for extra creaminess, if you prefer. Use the papaya chunks and banana saved from your Go with the Flow smoothie.

1 SERVING

½ papaya, cut into chunks and frozen

½ banana, frozen

150ml (¼ pint) non-dairy milk, coconut water or water

1 teaspoon grated fresh root ginger*

lime juice, to taste

seeds and flesh of 1 passion fruit (optional)

PHASE 2: Add some pineapple to further boost your digestive enzymes. Replace some or all of the liquid with probiotic-rich kefir.

PHASE 3: Add extra protein with some Greek yogurt and a dash of kefir for probiotics.
