James turns his face away and I somehow manage the strength to put on the blue suit. "Let's get out of here," he says with urgency, once I'm dressed.

"Seize them."

Really? Did that woman just say those lame ass words? I'd care more about her stupid way of talking if I wasn't so worn out.

We do get seized though, James and I. Me, because I'm too tired to put up a fight, and James because even though he's a strong and powerful werewolf, he's unable to fight off a crowd of twenty, or so, men and women.

"Take them to the main cabin while I dress."

Yeah, she and I both need to dress. I might be wearing more than that wolf turned woman, but it's only a thin cloth I'm covered in compared to the blanket she has on.

I'm not struggling to escape my captors. I can't. I'm weak and I don't know if it was the physical aspect of randomly becoming wolf, or the mental impact such an occurrence has had on my levels of strength.

I can hear James grunting with displeasure as we're both carried away. "Let us go!" He keeps shouting and I have a feeling he's still putting up a fight against those who are attempting to wrestle him away.

Push... shove... and a few minutes later a door slams shut behind myself and James.

We're in a wooden cabin. There's a fire crackling in the fireplace and I move towards its warmth. It's all cozy couches and overstuffed chairs in here, with blankets thrown over most of the furnishings.

"That woman... she's a werewolf. Both of you changed, and it's not even a full moon." James sits next to me and takes me in his arms.

"I know, right?" I mumble into his capable chest. "And it didn't even hurt this time."

"It didn't?" James rests his chin on the top of my head. Gently.

"Nope, I'm okay. I just feel really tired."

Bang!

The main door opens with a crash. The wolf woman who was previously naked strides in. She's now wearing an old fashioned dress that mostly looks like a really long tunic. Her skirts swish and sway as she enters the cabin. "I am Constance," she declares, after banging the door shut. "I have freed you to turn at will."

When James and I fail to reply, she adds, "I think a show of gratitude is in order."

"You want us to thank you for forcing us into this cabin? For threatening to kill my friend?" I stand on wobbly legs and James jumps up to support me with an arm.

"It had to be done." Constance strides forward and seats herself onto an armchair. "I've never experienced a psychic episode like the one that burst into my mind tonight, dearest Eve."

And of course she knows my name. Every stranger I meet on the planet seems to know my name.

"I saw you in that blue realm," Constance leans back and glares up at me. "Even though you were wearing that same blue suit, I saw into your soul, Eve Eden.
