Chapter 10 – Sanffa

My chest is tightening as Mary explains her situation. A female alone with a small child to care for after such an unexpected tragic loss is unacceptable; she needs a male to protect her. My first instinct is to comfort her, but under the circumstances, all I can do is offer her my hand.

“I am sorry you have no male to protect your precious family.”

Mary’s eyes become glassy and moist and she swallows hard. I stare into them trying to gauge the situation. Right now she looks tiny. A lost soul. My whole core is screaming to take her in my arms and offer her physical contact. But it’s an awkward situation. Moments ago I was her prisoner. It would be uncouth and inappropriate.

I envelope her in my arms and she gasps and buries her head into my shoulder, She begins to sob. The whole of her tiny body rattles as she sucks in huge breaths and lets it all out, muffled wails and shudders release against my chest.

I hold her tight to me and rock, kissing the top of her head and inhaling her hair. She fits against me perfectly. The missing piece to my puzzle and I don’t want to let her go. It feels like she is sobbing for an age and I don’t know how such a small body could hold in so much sorrow. I don’t know how long we are like this but Mary’s sobs eventually quieten and after a length of silence, I lift my head and peer down to see if she’s okay. To my amazement, she has fallen asleep against me.

I carefully lift her onto my lap, grab a blanket and spread it over both of us, sit back in the huge seat, and close my eyes, eventually falling asleep too.

I sense I’m being watched. When I open my eyes, I can see Mary in my peripheral vision looking up at me, her eyes darting over my features, examining every bit of me. I look down at her and meet her eyes. Her lips part slightly as if she wants to say something, but is too afraid.

I lift my hand to her head and stroke her silky hair. “Are you okay?”

She nods. “Thank you...I’ve been bottling that in for so long trying to be strong for Sharnah.”

I nod and before I realise what I’m doing, I lean down and claim her lips. She gasps into my mouth but doesn’t pull away. Her mouth is small, but her lips are full, and they lock against mine with a ferociousness I didn’t know could exist in such a small female. She twists on my lap and brings her leg over to straddle me. The instant heat generated as our crotches touch sends blood rushing to my cock and it quickly expands and pushes up against Mary.
