“I’m sure he’ll come over after he’s finished at the Silver Edge.”

“We should have gone back to the hotel. He’s not going to want to come here, to Nick’s house.”

Wesley didn’t want to admit that he had made a mistake in convincing his brother to come here. He hadn’t thought it would be so hard on Breck for them to be here. And if it was hard on Breck, it might just be hard on Teddy, too. Damn! He really had to begin thinking things through.

“It’ll only be for a few days.” Wesley patted the pillows. “Come on. Lie back and I’ll cover you up. Then you can get some sleep.”

Once Teddy was asleep Wesley left the room. He had been given the room beside his brother’s. Nick had wanted him to sleep with him, but he had declined. It didn’t feel right yet, no matter how much he wanted the guy to fuck him into the mattress. They hadn’t had sex yet and it was beginning to take its toll. When Nick had pressed him about it Wesley had told him that they needed to talk first, something they really hadn’t been able to do, since the only time they saw one another was at the hospital.

Going downstairs he was surprised to see Breck standing in the huge living room, with the square beams overhead and the massive stone fireplace. It was too early, hours sooner than they had expected him. Nick was seated in a big brown leather chair while the other man was standing at the window which had a panoramic view of the mountains in the distance.

“Hi, big guy,” Wesley greeted warmly, hoping to repair the damage between them.

Breck turned to look at him, a tight smile on his lips. The guy wanted to be there about as much as he’d want to stand on hot coals.

“Hey, Wes, how’s Teddy?”

“Tired. He’s taking a nap.”

“Good. He needs all the rest he can get.” The view caught his interest again and they stared at his back. “Do you think I can come back after work?”
