Tivie was in her high chair and Hunter was right next to her. He’s really taken a liken to her these days. He watches over her from the time they wake up until she falls asleep. I could tell these two were going to be thick as thieves as they grew up if we stuck around. Unfortunately, I know that wouldn’t be the case. Demi called yesterday and said they wanted the band to get in the studio and start laying tracks for the new record. They were trying to get the vocals down before Layla had the baby. She was due in just under four months. I had to go but, just didn’t know how I was going to get Axle to agree to it.

“What’s got you thinking so hard this morning? It’s two fucking early for that mess,” Romy said walking into the kitchen going straight for the coffee pot. She was so not a morning person.

“Just got things on my mind that’s all. Things that I know a certain person is going to go ape shit over,” I answered Romy.

“Maybe if you give a little bit of ass he might not be too bad,” Madison said joining in the conversation with a snarky remark.

That caused Carrin and Izzy to spit coffee while Athena was choking because of Madison’s outburst. All six of us were laughing like hyena’s when Wall stumbled into the room still half a sleep. “What are you bitches laughing at? It’s a little early for comedy hour”.

“Shut it Wall. Watch your mouth, the kids are in here. I thought we all agreed to start cutting that mess out. Tivie is repeating everything now a’ days,” Carrin snapped.

“Easy sis, I’m still asleep. I didn’t see the kiddos in the room. Take it down a notch,” Wall whined.

“Morning Wall, I thought it was Happy’s night to babysit last night,” I asked.

“Yeah, well I covered for him. Prez had him taking care of sh..,” Wall caught his self when we all threw him a look, “stuff I mean. He’ll be here tonight”.

“Well, let all the rest of them know to take shifts coming through here tonight. All of us are cooking steaks and chops on the grill,” Carrin told her brother.

“No can do ladies. You all won’t be cooking anything on the grill tonight. We’re going to town later. Prez has authorized a little field trip for you guys. The old heads and their women are staying back with the kids and the prospects will be at the clubhouse while we all get out for a bit”.

“Hold up! You mean to tell me after being cooped up for over three weeks and now you guys are springing us,” Madison spoke to Wall for the first time in damn near a month.

“Not exactly. We’re headed into the bar for a few hours. It’ll give you all some time out of the house and put our face back out in public for a bit. We’ve been keeping a low profile for too long.
