CHAPTER SIXTEEN

SIMON

I know I shouldn’t be kissing her right now, but I couldn’t help myself. I haven’t been able to get her out of my mind for such a long fucking time. And now having her in such close proximity, I’m clearly losing any self-control that I possessed. After finding her in bed when I got back earlier, that’s literally all I want.

I want her in my goddamn bed. Morning and night. Whenever the hell she will agree to being in there.

When we got here earlier today, I planned on sleeping on the couch and giving her the bed. Now I realize that there’s no way in hell I’m going to be able to resist her. Unless she doesn’t want me in the bed, we won’t be sleeping separately.

Making a move on the first night is probably a bad idea. We still have an entire month we’re going to be here, sharing this space. Anything can happen in that time frame. But you know what… Stella is on her own little journey, and maybe so am I. I’m on my own journey of doing whatever the fuck I want without worrying about what happens after.

What could possibly go wrong?

Our mouths are melting together. Stella parts her lips, granting me the access I crave as my tongue slides against hers. She moans into my mouth and I swallow the sound. “So, we’re on the same page then?” she asks me, shifting her weight again. Her palms are warm against my shoulders as she holds on to me.

Pulling back slightly, I lean deeper into the couch as I stare into her dark eyes. “I’m on whatever page you want me to be on.”

Her eyes bounce back and forth between mine briefly. “Take me to bed.”
