I felt safe in Dirk’s arms. The soft, rhythmic sound of his breathing was reassuring and comforting. I think he was asleep as I lay there wondering what would happen because he took me without any protection. Then again, I didn’t really care one way or another. It felt right being in the captain’s arms. The captain would look after me. I just knew it. This was going to be one fun vacation.

Chapter 2

Half the crew was watching me. Well, it felt like half of them, anyway. I could feel them undressing me with their voracious eyes, their yearning for my bikini clad body so palpable I could almost feel the heat of it on my bare skin. There was a time I would have been disgusted or at the very least, embarrassed at being looked at like a piece of meat, someone’s idea of a sex toy. But not right now. Not as I reclined seductively on the sun lounge, out on what they call the ‘crew deck’, tanning my long, toned legs in the dazzling Caribbean sun.

The Staff Captain, or Deck Head as I called him, was the captain’s second in command and had taken a very special interest in me. I might have flirted with him a few times…okay…quite a few times, but he never actually approached me or talked to me, much to my disappointment. I think he thought he was a little too old for me. If only he knew about my new ‘thing’ for older men in uniform. Zac, the Staff Captain was looking at me long and hard that particular day as I rubbed sunscreen slowly and alluringly over my tanned skin, leaving it glistening and wet looking. I don’t think I could have made myself look any hotter if I tried. I was sure he’d come on to me sooner or later. I knew I had to be patient. But patience was one thing I did not do well.

The captain was busy doing his captain-of-the-ship stuff and I was lonely and bored. I needed some kind of diversion. Who knew that the crew section of a cruise ship could be so boring! A plan had begun to form and I smiled to myself at the delicious thought of it coming to fruition. I needed to do something before I went crazy with cabin fever.

Gathering my towel and tote bag, I made my way up the stairs to the Promenade Deck from where Zac was pretending to be admiring the view. Of course, I knew what view he was really admiring. As I walked past him, I cunningly dropped my sunscreen container and kept walking.

“Ah, excuse me? Miss?”

I heard him alright, but I wasn’t planning on making this easy for him. Head in the clouds, I kept on walking. Then I heard his rapid footfall on the deck behind me and his hand touched my bare arm. He had such soft hands, too.

“Sorry, Miss, but you dropped this,” he said, offering the sunscreen to me with a self-conscious look on his face.
